Article 16: Letter to the annonymous reciever: By LJ Lattrel

Dear receiver
Its with a broken heart , I write this/
Letter to you , explaining what life is/
By now you don't understand, what I've seen through my eyes/ and
Why I write , every time I need to cry/

Let me start from the beginning, I lost mom at an early age, I was 15
but shit I felt like an infant/
In this movie there are no happy endings/
Life is a song, got is the Dj , he's cross fading/

Emotional roller coasters, lead to beer bottles/
Life is so fast, time hits full throttle/

But let me get back to the purpose of this letter/
Lost mom at 15, can I be 10 again/
To Gods wrath, I'm a victim ill never repent again/
White walls turn black, step father loves Gin/
Grandma, took me in/ but she kept laws like a prison/




I grew up in pain, the sjambok can't whip me, Hard enough to break me/
It was only a matter of time before I acted like my dad,
Switched skirts, and lied about love I didn't have/
Kissed bottles, and my lungs hugged smoke like true love I never had/

Sometimes I sit and ask myself why sons have to be like their fathers/
Or take from their uncles, I just wish we knew how to love like our mothers/
Sometimes, I hear my mothers voice calling, when I'm sober/

So I get high to ignore her call, but find myself. Asking God if I can
visit her instead or call/
Just to say I miss her, sometimes I call her MTN numbers, on that
silver Samsung/

She left behind/
Her voice mail is the only way, I get to hear her voice, its the only
way I get to hear her rejoice/

They say life is short, but I believe life aint short if you fulfill yo purpose/
I'm 20 years old on this day!
A father to a beautiful baby girl, who never had her 1st birthday, or
her 1st bath/

Sometimes I ask myself if God is against me , or God is just testing
me through death/




I now know the importance of life, its not always about what you do,
its about what you don't do/
We don't often show people how much we love them or care until God takes them

Losing the person closes to your heart and losing the person whom you
were gonna learn to love or the person you wanted to meet ( losing
someone no matter the relation). Is the biggest wake up call for all
of us!


Sometimes I have dreams of taking my mother and daughter to the park,
on a hot spring day/ given the chance I'd make everyday a hot spring
day/

By now this letter has revealed a lot of untold information about me/
I know that someway somehow you relate to my story, you might have not
lost someone close , but you might have lost someone you don't know,
who was gonna play a big part in yo life/

I wanted to tell you that I now live a well balanced life (I am a
happy alcoholic, musician and recreational drug user), my experiences
(the ones disclosed and the ones not disclosed) were a gateway for me
to pave a direction for my life/

In no way is losing someone a good thing, but it should come as a
light to show you that tomorrow is not guaranteed, let the people close
to you know how you feel/

Life is too short to hold grudges or think about revenge/ life is too
short to worry about the latest trends, rather make 1 positive gesture
or difference in someones life/
I took my time and wrote this letter to a random address!

"Life is a song, God is a Dj. He can cross fade your song anytime" so
make someone dance to your rhythm or dance to someones rhythm because
you might not get the chance to do so tomorrow!
