Article 4: Lesutu #NASHed!

It was ONE HELL OF A SHOW!!!

I just had to say that before anything.
There was and is a lot of talent in Capcity. I was blown away by the sheer talent I witnessed this weekend. It was an epic show and 2 days later people are still talking about it. The show started off with mic checks with every perfomer dropping 1 track to set the tone. I never seen so many hip hop heads out to support each other. There was no boo's or anything as everyone could'nt find fault at the show. The acts that stood head over shoulders for me were Fuki, Sp, CIA, Pro chick, LJ and Kayso.
Pro chick rolled up on stage and she gave an energetic perfomance that had everyone in aww and on their feet. It was quiet something to see a chick take over the stage like that. After her perfomance I found it pretty hard to comprehend if anyone could deliver on the same level. Her lyrics were both humerous and in touch with the hood like that. Next act was Fuki. I searched for the right words to describe how he killed on stage. He was all hyped up and it was almost like he was lost in the music. You could actually see the passion on his face while he was performing his songs. Fuki is the kind of artist who is humble and down to earth, you could actually underestimate him before he perfoms. Fuki really killed and after seeing Pro Chick on stage I was really starting to enjoy myself.
Next on stage was Kayso, now he really did his thing. Before I can talk about his perfomance let ne just say he had the mic intimidating people and the audience actually thought he was the last act of the day, that's how good he was. He perfomed 'pada pada' 1st and everyone was singing to the hook, and I mean everyone. Next on his list was 'bula dai deng', he had chicks blushing and singing along. That was the track that made people believe they were at a G-Town hip hop show.
CIA also grabbed the mic and started with addressing the crowd, telling them who he was exactly and what he came to do. Then the beat started bumping anf people where attentive and enjoying his perfomance. It was phenomenal!!!
Then there was the last perfomance of the night. After pulling a few strings, Sp and CIA stepped on stage to perfom arguably the track that has Ga-Rankuwa Hip Hop on lock, 'Gwa nyiwa'. The song pulled everyone to front row and soon as the hook was playing 'Go nyiwile'. They delivered the perfomance that earned respect to what the hood was looking for. It was a party song to kill off the night. That track 100 downloads after the show. People are still downloading the track to this day. The track is in demand and for me it has reached classic status!
Shout out to everyone who perfomed and came to support. Shout out to the organisers GarankuwaHipHop Committee, you guys where awsome. I look forwad to the next one.
