Article 3: Saved by spirits of hustlers!!!

Last night was an emotional night at TS Leisure.
It was a hip hop show that almost never hapened. The mic was messing up everything and to me it looked like they where not ready.
Never the less, LJ pressed on and stepped up on stage and perfomed his music. For someone who was working with a malfunctioning mic, he did a killer job. He had people intrigued with his flows, the beats where on point and he kicked of the show. Soon as LJ stepped off stage, CIA rolled up and did his thing. It was evident the crowd itself did not believe they where feeling local flavour like that. CIA produced a hyped up perfomance that balanced out nicely with the 1st perfomance. After a few adjustments to the mic, it was Sp's turn to roll on stage. As usuall, started off by making sure everyone is reminded of what was happening and who everyone was. He then perfomed 1 of the hottest tracks on the local hip hop scene 'I already won'...soon as the hook started playing, everyone there was on their feet. The mic issue seemed to have been of no relevance as every perfomer was on point and ripping it.
The last track of the night was my personal facourate. Sp and CIA got on stage and perfomed the song that has spiked with downloads, 'Gwa nyiwa'. That was the track that put a stamp of authority at TS Leisure. When I left, everyone I had a conversation with was raving about that joint. It was the perfect song to kill the night, the perfect climax as it left everyone singing the hook.
Fellas I enjoyed every moment of the perfomances and your spirit saved the show. Hip hop aint dead, it's just chilling in G-town. To my realisation, people are really craving for more upcoming acts. The crowd was sizable and everyone there knew what what going on, they where there to support.
Much thanks to everyone who made it. I hope to see you again on Sunday at Lesutu for the show.
